
Course Program
Courses for professors and university staff with leadership and/or management responsibilities
These courses focus on skills that enable UZH leaders/managers to deal with the various tasks associated with the management of dean’s offices, institutes, departments and Central Services offices. Participants may attend individual courses or a combination of courses.Individual courses may be counted toward the Leadership Program for Professors as specialized and supplementary modules. The relevant courses are marked accordingly.
Terms of Participation
- Your registration is binding. By registering, you undertake to participate in the relevant course following your admission.
- Admission: Admission is dependent on whether you are a member of the target group for the relevant course. As a rule, no more than two participants from the same organizational unit are admitted to each course. Program managers decide on the final admission in consultation with the relevant course heads.
- In order to receive confirmation of participation, half-day courses or webinars lasting two to three hours must be attended in full; full-day courses require attendance of at least 80% of the duration of the course.
- Cancellation is possible up to 10 days before the start of the course. In the event of later cancellation or non-attendance on the day of the course, only unforeseeable and inevitable events preventing a participant from attending will be accepted. These must be communicated to the course administrators in writing e-mail to wbinfo@wb.uzh.ch. Unexplained non-attendance or multiple cancellations at short notice without a valid reason may result in exclusion from UZH continuing education courses for one year.
